“وَقُل رَّبِّ زِدْنِي عِلْمًا”
“And say, Oh my Lord, increase me in Knowledge”
Assalamu Alaikum Warhmatulhi Wabarakatu and welcome to the EIASC (Darul-Hijrah Islamic School) Weekend learning.
The teachers and the administrative staff of Darul-Hijrah Islamic School are committed to maximizing your child’s potential. We all know that children learn more and have better lives when students, teachers, and parents work collaboratively. The school management, staff, and parents must work together and support each other’s efforts. In addition, we request all parents to play an active role at home during the weekdays so that we can together achieve our goals.
School Organization and Commitment
“Oh mankind! We have created you from a single (pair) of a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, that you may know each other (not that you may despise each other). Indeed, the most honored of you in the sight of God is (he who is) the most righteous of you…” Al-Qur’an 49:13
At Darul-Hijrah Islamic School, our aim is to provide students with the tools they need to excel in Quran, Islamic Studies, and Arabic. We at DHQS are committed to helping students become model citizens in a diverse society, while maintaining their education and values in accordance with the teachings of the Quran and Sunnah.
This New Year we will certainly bring new challenges and opportunities for you and your children. Our educational efforts are aimed at shaping the minds of and hearts of our students according to the teachings of the Holy Quran and the blessed Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Therefore, the students will gradually be introduced to the Holy Quran, Hadith, Seerah, Fiqh, the lives of the sahaba’s, and other historical figures in Islamic history.
